Fuel Smart AU
If you wish to delete your Fuel Smart AU account and all associated data, follow these simple steps:
Go to Settings Tab
Open the Fuel Smart AU app and navigate to the Settings tab from the main menu.
Tap Delete Account
Scroll down to find the Delete Account option and tap on it.
Tap Confirm
Review the confirmation dialog, then tap Confirm to permanently delete your account.
⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting your account will permanently remove:
- Your user account information (email, display name, profile photo)
- Your preferences (fuel type, tank size, preferred brands, vehicle information)
- Your favorite stations list
- All other associated data
Your Firebase authentication account will also be deleted if the deletion is successful.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
When you delete your account, all of your personal data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account Information: Your user ID, email, display name, profile photo, and authentication provider information will be deleted.
- User Preferences: All your preferences including preferred fuel type, tank size, vehicle name, weekly distance, preferred brands, and other settings will be permanently removed.
- Favorite Stations: Your list of favorite stations will be deleted.
- Firebase Account: We will attempt to delete your Firebase authentication account as well.
After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You will no longer be able to access your account or data
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Fuel Smart AU again
- All your previous data will be unrecoverable
